Firoz Haider is the founder and director of India Dans Theater. A multifaceted artist, he brings together his experience as a choreographer, performer, educator, and movement researcher to lead one of New Delhi's most dynamic dance institutions.
With a deep commitment to the ecology of performing arts, Firoz has dedicated his career to nurturing dance talent in India and creating platforms for artistic exchange and collaboration. His work spans contemporary dance, movement practice, choreography, and dance education.
Firoz leads the popular Moving Alive sessions at Vasant Kunj — an open-level movement practice that welcomes practitioners of all backgrounds and experience levels every Sunday morning.
He is passionate about making dance accessible to all — from young children taking their first steps in movement to aspiring professionals developing their craft. Under his leadership, India Dans Theater has grown into a vibrant creative community with studios across New Delhi.
